How to install a travel eSIM on iPhone

Add your travel eSIM to an iPhone with one tap or by scanning its QR code.

  1. On iOS 17.4 or later, open the install link from your email on the iPhone and tap “Install on this iPhone”.

  2. Otherwise go to Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM › Use QR Code and scan the code shown on another screen.

  3. Label the new line (for example “Travel”) and choose it for mobile data when you arrive.

  4. Turn on Data Roaming for the travel line: Settings › Mobile Data › Travel › Data Roaming.
