How to install a travel eSIM on Android

Add your travel eSIM to an Android phone by scanning its QR code or entering the code by hand.

  1. Go to Settings › Network & internet › SIMs › Add SIM (Samsung: Settings › Connections › SIM manager › Add eSIM).

  2. Choose “Download a SIM instead” or “Scan QR code” and scan the code from another screen, or enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code manually.

  3. When you arrive, set the eSIM as the SIM for mobile data and turn on roaming for it.
