Which plan do I need?

  • Messaging, maps and email use little data, so a smaller plan suits a short trip if that’s mostly what you do.
  • Video calls, social media and streaming use much more: choose a larger or unlimited plan if you use them every day.
  • Count the days you’ll be away, including travel days, and pick a plan that lasts at least that long.

Installing your Global eSIM

As soon as your eSIM is ready you’ll get a QR code and an install link by email. Install it while you’re on Wi-Fi, ideally the day before you travel, then choose it for mobile data when you land.

Yes. The eSIM is for data. Keep your usual SIM switched on for calls and texts if you need them, and turn its data roaming off to avoid charges from your home provider.

Can I get a refund?

If you have not activated the eSIM (it has never connected to a network), you can request a refund from your account. Once a plan has been used it cannot be refunded.

What if I run out of data?

Plans that support top-ups can be extended from My eSIMs with the same plan; the data is added to the eSIM you already installed.
